Volkswagen announces pricing of all-new 2019 Arteon

HERDON, VA-- Volkswagen of America has announce pricing for the all-new 2019 Arteon. The halo sedan will start at $35,845 for front-wheel-drive models and $37,645 for 4Motion AWD models. The destination charge is $995.

According to a release from VW, the Arteon features a wide, planted stance and short overhangs marrying the space of a midsize sedan to the sleek design of a premium coupe. Built off the automaker's award-winning MQB architecture, Arteon is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged direct-injection TSI engine producing 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It will be available in three trims-- SE, SEL and SEL Premium.

Buyers looking for a more aggressive appearance can add the available R-Line Package to any trim for an additional $1,265 or $1,765 depending on which size wheels-- 19-inch or 20-inch-- are selected.
