CVS looks to hire 50,000 and giving current employees bonuses between $150-$500

CVS is hiring 50,000 full-time, part-time, and temporary employees in what the company is calling the "most ambitious hiring drive in the company's history."

The roles are being sought "immediately" according to a CVS press release and includes open positions for store associates, home delivery drivers, distribution center employees, and member/customer service professionals.

The company will be using virtual job fairs, virtual interviews, and virtual job tryouts in the hiring process. The company says it is working to fill many of the roles with furloughed workers from Hilton and Marriott, though not all roles will be filled.

Employees currently working at CVS during the COVID-19 outbreak are also receiving bonuses ranging from $150 to $500 depending on their position.
