A group of 82nd Airborne Division soldiers at Fort Bragg have gone viral after a video of them singing "My Girl" popped up on TikTok.

The video had more than half a million views on the social media platform as of July 13 and more than 4.5 million views on Facebook.

Kara Hall, who is a parachute rigger in the division, captured the video. Hall said when the group is around, she will ask them to sing different songs.

When they are around I ask. Sometimes they have time to sing for us, sometimes they don't. You just have to catch enough of them together and ask. We are all down-to-earth people living our best lives in the sky!" Hall said.

In the video, the group of soldiers is seen bursting into song as they sit weighted down with military gear, waiting for their turns to jump out of a helicopter.

“The 82nd ABN DIV Chorus made my day today on the drop zone when I requested an old classic!" Hall said on TikTok. "What made it better is that they were in harness jumping from a UH-60 (helicopter).”

The 82nd Airborne Division Association said on Facebook, "Nothing like the All American Chorus to get you moving!!!!"

Dating back to 1942, the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Band and Chorus includes providing music for occasions at Fort Bragg and "Telling the Army Story."
